20 year old Jamie Reed joined us last week to get a taste of life in busy graphic design studio. Here’s what he had to say about his experience…
“I came to Unsworth Sugden because I wanted to push my boundaries and learn how to create artwork in areas other than online, e.g. print items such as brochures, leaflets and signage. I also wanted to enhance my software skills and develop my creativity.
When I first arrived, I was nervous but excited to get started. My first task was to create a brochure for Unsworth Sugden. I got to add my own creative additions to it, to make it stand out and look professional. I was really happy with the result.
I learnt something new every day and with that I got quicker at completing tasks. Everyone in the studio helped in some way to improve me as a designer, whether it was developing my ideas or just helping me to learn new tools in the Adobe suite.
I really enjoyed my time and wanted to do my best to complete work to a high standard. All the staff I met were amazing in helping me settle in. I would definitely recommend Unsworth Sugden to designers looking for work experience.”
